State Level National Talent Search Examination NTSE 2013 Results, Admission / Admit card
Admit cards will be sent to the respective Head Masters of the school after allotting the Roll Numbers Candidates can collect the Admit Card from the Head Masters of the school at least one week before the examination.
The amount of scholarship will be Rs. 500/- per month (as per M.H.R.D. guidelines). The State Level examination will be conducted on Sunday 18th November, 2012 in all the District Headquarters of the State.
The State reservation policy will be adapted, for the selection of candidates including 3%
for physically challenged group of students.
The pattern of written Examination for Class X will be as follows :-
- There will be 90 questions each in Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Aptitude Test.
- Each question carries one mark.
- The time allowed is 90 minutes for MAT and SAT Examination, separately.
The question format for SAT will be based on the syllabus for Class IX and X as prescribed by the State and C.B.S,E. Examination Boards.
For SAT paper, the number of questions allocated for each subject will be as follows:
- Physics 12, Chemistry 11, Biology 12, Mathematics 20, History 10, Geography 10,
- Political Science 10 and Economics 5.
Visually challenged candidates are allowed 30 minutes extra time for both MAT and SAT Examinations. As per the quota allotted for the State by the NCERT, 256 candidates will be selected in Stage I of N.T.S.Examination.
